The West Coast ‘OG’ Says “Maybe They Should Wear A Vest With Amazon Delivery On It…..I Almost Shot a MF Creeping Up To My Crib Last Night,” On Twitter.
Ice T hit Twitter to deliver a message to Amazon about their delivery drivers. This comes after he almost shoots an Amazon delivery driver after mistaking him for a criminal.
Ice T says “Now that you have regular people making your home deliveries… Maybe they should wear a Vest with AMAZON DELIVERY on it… I almost shot a MF creeping up to my crib last night… Just saying,” the rapper/actor wrote.
The Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations & Customer Service at Amazon ‘Dave Clark’ makes light of the situation by replying back to Ice T with a bit of a sarcastic joke.
Dave Clark tweeted “Just sayin… thanks for the suggestion. We MF’ing love you and our drivers. Lots of innovations coming on this and many that already exist to help you track your package and delivery on a map.”
“Thanks for being a customer,” Clark added.
I first heard this story while listening to Sway in the Morning on Shade 45 during a wake n bake session early this morning. I’m dead azz when I tell y’all the whole blunt went flying, I almost spit out my coffee when I heard them repeat Amazon’s reply to Ice T’s message on the radio. I can’t lie I was dying, it was hella funny how they said it on the air.
Later I began thinking “what type of reply is that from a major corporation to a customer?” IceT might be a celebrity but at the end of the day he was a customer with a serious complaint. Why would someone in Dave’s position dismiss a customer like that? Was he really trying to be funny or was he just replying like this because he isn’t taking Ice T seriously?
It didn’t stop there as people began to chime in about the some what shady reply from Dan Clark. I hope the higher up over at Amazon handle this asap, there is no reason to get this type of reply from someone in customer service who represents Amazon.
I understand where Ice T is coming from, after my short stint as an Amazon driver there were a few times I had to “creep” around several homes searching for their address or to reach the proper “zone” which is set by Amazon to drop off the package so you can move on to the next delivery.
I had my own fluorescent vest while out doing deliveries, but some people would still look at me crazy if I got too close to their own or their neighbors homes.
Amazon will send its drivers to a straight war zone; I did deliveries in some of the worst parts of Chicago. You know if Dan Clark, or other people in power at Amazon were going out making these deliveries Amazon would make sure to provide them with the proper gear to get the job done safely, thats my opinion.

Texas artist “NoImage” hits the scene with his latest single “Cadence”
I see that we have some hot new talent out of Texas. NoImage could very well be on his way to putting Austin, Texas on the map. The name “No Image” represents exactly what it is No Image, no brand, just pure music and soul. He doesn’t have one particular style per se, he fuses a multitude of sounds together and delivers multi-genre creations.
Its dope how he integrates a particular style/sound in his music while keeping it versatile and each its own. If you listen to “Running” it sounds totally different from “Take me to Paradise” but both tracks have a signature sound which can be found in most of his songs. You may notice some similarities with “Fan Now” and “Cadence“, but each song has its own sound, and creates its own vibe. On top of having witty lyrics, No Image creates deep, meaningful stories and has well crafted music you might want to give this guy a chance!
When we spoke with No Image about this track he said “I tried to find a new sound that would captivate any listener. I believe I have done that with CADENCE. It is a very wavy yet dark song. It puts you in the mind of the artist and takes you on a journey to explore creative talent while being in your own body.”
If he keeps bringing the heat like this he could very well be next to make it! With more than 270,000 streams on Spotify “Cadence” is already reaching the people!
The hook goes: “Ima have y’all baaannngin to my Caandeeeence, Ima go crazy til I make iiiiittt!” 4x
“Ima have Y’all bangin, I swear ima make it, Im jus on the waitlist take it postdated cash it when Im famous” 1x
It’s no wonder why so many people are tuned in, besides the mega catchy hook “Cadence” has the sound everyone wants to hear. Don’t listen to me tho press play and listen to the song for yourself and you be the judge. Dj’s hit me up if you want to put this in rotation or you can catch up with him below!
Lil Durk Presents: “Game” featuring Tee Grizzley, YNW Melly and Sada Baby
Lil Durk teams up with Tee Grizzley along with YNW Melly and Sada Baby for the blazing hot new single “Game.” Durk kicks off the song with his melodic flow while flexing and going on about him texting Nicki Minaj over a piano-laden drill beat.
It’s time to turn of the up the temperature, and that’s exactly what Chicago-based hip-hop artist D1 does with his new single “T.U.T.T.”
The high-energy hype song that’s sweeping through Midwest clubs is the perfect vibe for having fun and jamming out at a party, or even just by yourself in the living room. It’s very upbeat with a catchy hook and a sound that perfectly represents this up-and-coming young artist from one of the country’s best music cities.
“I wanted to have fun with it,” D1 said of the single. “A lot of my music is serious, and when I first finished making this beat I thought I didn’t have a purpose for it. I thought I’d just put it out as a beat and someone else could use it. But the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. I started putting some stuff together for it just to see if I could call it a song. But then I thought of the hook out of nowhere, and I liked it so much that I decided to run with it. After I got the hook, the song pretty much wrote itself. I, of course, wanted to make sure it sounded good as well as being well-made. But then I just had fun with it. And the response from my fans is that it’s different, but in a good way. I’m pretty sure no one has ever heard this sound before – it sounds different, but it’s fun.”
D1 is the kind of artist who embraces that reputation of being different. It’s the foundation for his stage name, in fact. Originally D1 was meant to represent the fact that he’s in his own division – like a Division 1 college athlete. And certainly he said it still reflects that his music is in a class of its own. But he hopes that it has grown larger than that. He wants his music to really shake up the way people think of their lives.
“I want my music to be known for people who aren’t afraid of being out of the box,” he said. “I want it to be fun and funny – like I want you to laugh – but I also want you to relate to it and understand the message behind it. I want it to help you heal, or to be inspired or motivated, but through all of it, to have fun. I’m a funny person and my personality is way extroverted. I can be very charismatic and goofy and I like to make people laugh, and the point of my music to make people want to have fun and enjoy life.”
Part of that attitude has come from a life that hasn’t always been fun. Growing up, D1 didn’t have a lot of friends. He was bullied in school and wasn’t always treated well by his family at home. He started writing poetry at a young age as a way to get his pent up emotions out. When he went to a summer camp and took a music class one year, that poetry turned into song- writing – the rest is history.
“I have had some struggles, but that ultimately has made me a more humble and grounded person,” he said. “My craft has evolved along with my personal growth. I have been dealing with adversity for a long time now, but that hasn’t stopped me from having faith in my music and my career. And through it all I’ve come out fun and extroverted. And my music will always show you that I do not know when to give up.”
